together PANGEA
together PANGEA
together PANGEA began with lead singer-songwriter William Keegan recording songs on a 4-track tape machine as a teenager. The band truly began to take shape when Danny Bengston joined on bass, Erik Jimenez on drums and later Cory Hanson on lead guitar. They began performing at CalArts and house parties in the Santa Clarita valley in 2008, soon venturing to house shows and DIY spaces throughout the West Coast. These initial grassroots tours were followed by shows at iconic LA venues such as The Echo, Echoplex, the Troubadour and The Roxy, as well as trips to Austin for SXSW. Their debut recording was 2010's cassette-only Jelly Jam, released by Seattle-based label Lost Sound Tapes. Their second album ;Living Dummy was co-released on LP in the summer of 2011 by Burger Records and The Smell's label Olfactory. Living Dummy was followed up by the "Killer Dreams EP" in early 2012. together PANGEA have played shows with Wavves, The Black Lips, FIDLAR, Ty Segall, Mikal Cronin, King Kahn and the Shrines, Nobunny, Redd Kross, Guitar Wolf, The Strange Boys, and many more. Now signed to Harvest Records, together PANGEA will be releasing their "Snakedog" 7-inch on August 20th in anticipation of their full-length album.
Gateway Drugs
Gateway Drugs
The question that has been keeping us up at night all these years – what if The Knack and The Birthday Party got together and had kids – has finally been answered … and it's Gateway Drugs.

Hailing from the dark streets of sunny Los Angeles Gab, Noa, and Liv Niles are the real live children of The Knack's Preston Niles. Blues Williams, a sworn in blood brother, rounds out the band.

Liv - lead vocals, guitars, bass, theremin – packs a voice smoky sweet like Chrissie and Patsy but lays down sonic smoking leads like Jay and Johnny.
Noa - lead vocals, guitars, keys - croons like a teen angel then coaxes waves of pure bliss and snarling panthers from his guitar.
Gab – lead vocals, drums, guitars, bass – pounds his kit like a freight train stampeding down the midnight rails while he howls at the moon.
Blues – vocals, bass, guitars, banjos - holds it all together, riding the dark swells with thundering lines and perfect cheek bones, trying his best to keep all the real girls from going under.

Gateway Drugs shows are a controlled cauldron of total rock and roll inspiration. All members are multi-instrumentalist lead singers, and the vocals and instruments are thrown around like chainsaw jugglers up on the high wire, or kids who have been playing together since ... well, since they were really little kids. Gateway Drugs are a mind-blowing, heart-altering mix of sex, chaos, bad thoughts, young dreams, and perfect pop hits … take it now.

KAV (Resident Artist + Guests)
KAV (Resident Artist + Guests)
Resident artist & Dance in a Panic founder KAV recently released his Debut Solo Album "The Man With No Shadow" debuting at #20 on the CMJ Most Added chart in the US. Stryker from KROQ named KAV's single "Blaggers N' Liars" his "favorite '4.20' drive-time track of the year in 2014. He's been compared by the press with BRMC, Primal Scream, The Stooges & Kasabian.

Breaking Bads' Aron Paul was seen dancing to his track ‘Dance in a Panic’ for the movie Decoding Annie Parker, which gave KAV the idea to name his parties after the song. KAV was also the co-founder of UK Award-Winning club-night & 20,000 capacity London festival "Getloaded" & "Getloaded In The Park" which ran for 7 years on Clapham Common.

Kav played guitar for British band Happy Mondays touring from 2004 to late 2007 including a show at Coachella in 2007. Since then he's been based in LA. Alongside guesting and playing with bands like Datarock, Kav has also worked with fashion icon Zombie Boy & opened for his friends Kasabian at their Brixton Academy show which also featured Band of Skulls. He's headlined Club NME at KOKO London & played SXSW & CMJ festivals. KAV was recently joined on stage in LA by Oasis founding member Bonehead. He's currently working on the follow to his 2014 album.

"The album’s scuzzy fuzz-bombs find the sonic midpoint between Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Kasabian... the world as viewed through the smudged lens of somebody who’s kicked up years of dust" - Buzz Bands LA (Aug 2014)
