This event is 18 and over
Dearly beloved, we gather here today 2 celebrate the timeless, vibrant, towering legacy of The Purple One. Even though Prince left the physical world on April 21st, 2016, his visionary, singular creative force permanently lives on in our collective hearts. Only true cynics and scrooges can’t get down with PURPLE RAIN, the semi-autobiographical tale of a Minneapolis musician navigating the club scene while chasing the stunning Apollonia away from the impeccable, hysterically funny Morris Day. In the intervening 30+ years, this massive hit hasn’t lost a single iota of its power to rock and charm. Come cheer, laugh, cry and sing along with one of the most stunning rock musicals ever on the Regent’s big screen -- and maybe, just maybe, together we can get through this unbelievable thing called life.
